University graduate from MKU (mount Kenya university) burns academic ceritificates

An undated video shows a graduate from Mount Kenya University (MKU) burning his academic certificates. The graduate, who completed his studies last year and participated in the university's 21st graduation ceremony held on July 29, 2022, is seen purposefully dropping his MKU certificates, as well as his KCPE and KCSE certificates, into a sufuria filled with fire.

The graduated had scored B in secondary education after which he proceeded to university. Life after university or studies is always termed as greener pasture but to many it isn't.

Lack of employment and high economy in the country has put many youths on the bad side of life, moreso corruption has been the main lead which has been killing the future generations.currently there are over 15 million graduates with no employment with others not even being able to put one meal on the table.

The government has turned a blind eye on the future of the country and this may not be the second case after the JKUAT student ( Suicide of a first class honors degree from JKUAT ) who recently committed murder after failing to get a job after million attempts.

The Kenyan government has proven not to care about the youths and the future of the country leaving teenagers and youths at the mercy of poverty, depression and trauma (Kenya's falling economy and dead future )
